One of the Museum’s many features is what is referred to as the “Ball Wall”. It consists of a glass enclosure containing the autographed baseballs of every player in the history of the NY Yankees. The “Ball Wall” also plays an integral part of the depiction of the famed historic World Series final perfect game pitch thrown by Don Larsen to Yogi Berra. It contains the representation of the final pitch in flight. A life size bronze statue of Don Larsen is positioned at one end of the wall, pitching to a life size bronze statue of Yogi Berra in crouched position at the other, symbolizing the final pitch for the final out, concluding the historic 1956 World Series perfect game. Another feature is the display of the late great Yankee Captain Thurman Munson’s original locker. Relocated from the original stadium, the care and caution that was required in this task was in and of itself monumental and memorable. The Conference Center is a “state of the art” conference facility located on the premier suite level of the stadium. Fully equipped with automated audio visual systems, lighting systems and teleconferencing capabilities, for the first time ever companies and corporations are able to conduct business just prior to enjoying the entertainment of America’s favorite pass time.

Tri-Line is proud and thrilled to have been a part of this “once in a lifetime” construction project. Having recently been awarded projects such as Staples at the Bronx Terminal Market, Tri-Line looks forward to continuing to be a part of to the revitalization the Bronx.

Tri-Line has been a member of the Wachovia construction team for over five years building out braches in New York City, Long Island and Connecticut. “We are thrilled that Wachovia has decided to once again place their trust in us” says Tri-Line Senior Vice President Michael Abiuso. “We have always strived to exceed Wachovia’s expectations and we believe it is the reason they continue to place their trust in us” he went on to say.

Tri-Line has enjoyed experiencing the evolution of the Wachovia design over the years. Wachovia and their design teams are always searching for the perfect solution to create the perfect customer experience. Every design detail is carefully reviewed and scrutinized during the design phase and at the completion of each project. Working with Al Tosto, Vice President at Wachovia, the evolution and implementation of the design is a shared experience for the team where each branch is a refinement and improvement of the previous. Remaining eager to learn and improve has always been the key to this success. The Lake Ronkonkoma assignment is especially exciting for the Wachovia design and construction team as it marks a milestone in the history of the firm. The design for the Lake Ronkonkoma Financial Center is the first to include Wells Fargo design standards. It is the first of the new “hybrid” designs that merges both the Wachovia and Wells Fargo design standards. This transformation is the beginning of what the Wachovia design and construction team believes will truly capture the perfect customer experience.

What I look forward to most is being able to continue to give back to the community and support the people that live in it.”
