AFFILIATIONS

Tri-Line is proud to be a member of and support many charitable organizations and prestigious Construction and Real Estate related organizations in the city of New York.

NHBG
The National Hispanic Business Group (NHBG) was founded in 1985 by a group of prominent Hispanic entrepreneurs with one common vision: to create an organization designed to advance business goals and opportunities for our members while at the same time, supporting positive social change and complete community involvement. This vision has grown into an influential network of business leaders, which calls upon more established members to nurture and guide its newer members.

The NHBG is comprised of many extremely talented individuals who take the lead in molding one of the Nation’s fastest growing sectors-the Hispanic business community. Our ultimate aspirations are to break-through corporate “status quo” settings, by fostering both a mutually beneficial dialogue and value-added economic exchange, between Corporate America and the Hispanic Business marketplace. Simply put, we seek to expand opportunities for Hispanic business with Corporate America. In addition, our organization strives toward inclusion of Hispanic-owned businesses and the Hispanic community at large in shaping public policy.

Our organization is funded by a $1500 membership fee annually. Yearly we host our Annual Gala Dinner, which brings together senior representatives from the private and public sectors. The event awards three individuals whose tireless efforts assist us in achieving our mission. The categories for these awards are Hispanic Corporate Achievement, Corporate Appreciation, and Hispanic Business Achievement. The event also honors exemplary Hispanic students who have excelled in college. The funds for our scholarships are raised at our Annual Golf Outing which is held every September.

REBNY
The Real Estate Board of New York was begun in 1896 as the first real estate trade association in the state. Real Estate Board members are New York City’s most talented, energetic and influential real estate professionals. Once membership is approved, members belong to their industry’s leading trade association within New York. REBNY works on behalf of its members to promote public and industry policies and frequently speaks before government bodies to, among other things, expand New York’s economy, encourage the development and renovation of commercial and residential real property, enhance the city’s appeal to investors and residents and facilitate property management.

In addition, the Board conducts various professional education programs including state-certified required courses for licensing, continuing education courses and free seminars to help members hone their professional skills. REBNY also undertakes a wide variety of research projects studying the current residential and commercial conditions within the city and maintains the largest collection of real-estate related information of any city trade association in its Seymour B. Durst library, located at REBNY’s office in mid-town.

KOY
The Knights of York, founded in 1996, is an established 501(c)(3) New York City-based, nonprofit organization comprised of business leaders in the construction, real estate, and technology industries. Having a simple mission with great conviction, the Knights of York is dedicated to enriching the lives of children in need.

In the spirit of friendship, and with a common purpose, the organization meets routinely during the year to plan and host special event fund raisers. Much dedication and hard work goes into making each event a great success. The Knights of York host golf outings and dinners, and participate personally in holiday toy gift giving at hospitals in the metropolitan region. The Knights of York is devoted to contributing services and donations to numerous lesser-known charities that show a need and demonstrate a true commitment to helping children.

The Lawrence Ferrara Children's Advocate Award, in memory of our late friend and one of our founding fathers, is the highest honor the Knights of York can bestow upon any person. Given to an exemplary individual at our Annual Black Tie Affair, the award distinguishes the man or women who has been the Knights of York's greatest supporter in the prior year.

Bound by our belief in social responsibility and a generous sentiment toward children we, the Knights of York, pledge “Every Knight for Their Tomorrow.”
